Boats (Who're In The Same?)

Boats,
they're such a metaphor!
What else could I ask for
in a world like this?
Perhaps, perhaps a kiss,
but I'm not sure I'll miss
your lips
when we're on sinking ships
and I know that I'm screwed,
I'll have to face the water,
while you're gonna be rescued
by a pretty nice helicopter.

Why
don't you even wave goodbye?
Would it be for shame?
Where's the equality you claim?
Aren't we in the same boat?
Note,
you didn't even throw me a float.
I always knew you would skip,
when it was time of hardships,
you won't stay if the boat sinks,
you'd go back to your drinks
your truffles, your lobsters
safe up there in helicopters.
